1. Волны, занимающие все сечение тонкой пластины, возбуждаемые только при определенных значениях угла ввода, частоты и толщины слоя.
2. Нормальная волна в слое со свободными поверхностями, характеризующаяся волноводным механизмом распространения и возбуждаемая при определенных соотношениях между толщиной слоя h и частотой f. Фазовая и групповая скорости распространения этих волн зависят от произведения hf.
Примечание
Наклонным преобразователем эти волны возбуждаются только при определенных значениях угла ввода, частоты и толщины слоя.
